"Return to Hardwick is so well done it deserves a place beside
[Peter Jackson's, They Shall Not Grow Old and Sam Mendes's, 1917] as a memory to be discovered."
"...Compelling and Informative..."
"An incredibly specific World War II story, but it also manages to honor everyone who served in that conflict"
"A documentary like this reminds us of 'The Good War,' the sacrifices it took to fight it, but also the horizon-broadening adventure of it all..."
"For history buffs, particularly those enamored of military history, this is solid gold"
"Very touching ... The past and present are absolutely seamlessly woven together in Sellers' editing"
The 93rd Bomb Group was arguably the most decorated, most traveled and most effective bomb group of WWII. Helping to cripple Hitler's Europe from the air, they executed some of the most daring bombing raids of the war. Along with the group's rich history, sons, daughters and grandchildren travel to England and explore the 93rd's long forgotten air base - Hardwick.
The making of Return To Hardwick has truly been an independent endeavor. The combination of a curious grandson of a World War II veteran and a legendary bomb group produced an energetic movie-making team to rival any Hollywood studio! Financial backing for the film wasn't done over crowd-funding websites like Kickstarter or Indiegogo but instead, money was donated from veterans and family members who wanted to take the 93rd's story public.

Hollywood actor Michael Cudlitz (The Walking Dead, HBO's WW II series Band of Brothers) sparked a deep interest in the Return To Hardwick story. He provided an on camera introduction and voiceover for the film. Michael has attended screenings around the country and has helped promote the film for its digital release. - please see clips below in Press & Interviews.

During most of 2019, producing partners Frankenbite Productions and The 93rd Bomb Group Association took Return To Hardwick on the road. The main focus was to theatrically screen the film at educational institutions like museums and also film festivals. The opportunity to meet and talk with people that were either connected to the war in some way or just a history buff was a great experience.
